Bicycle Painting Assemblage - One of a Kind
Original bicycle wall art assemblage perfect for a cyclist, triathlete, or bicycle nut.
Dimensions/Size: 12” X 16” X 2” on a gallery depth wood panel
Title of piece: "Catching Heat"
The inspiration behind this piece was a bicycle ride. I am an unabashed bicycle nut, and nothing makes me happier than putting my feet on my pedals and flying.
Colors: turquoise, black, orange, purple background with a bright white bicycle frame
Details: This piece was created over a three-week period. Her background alone has five layers of paint. The metal detailing on the wheels is hand hammered by me on my anvil.
I create one of a kind bicycle assemblage pieces with a little inspiration from my love all things bicycle. I believe in the power of pedaling and feel lucky every time I hop on my trusty bike. Slow your roll and feel the fortune of the sun on your face and the wind in your hair while riding. No two of my bicycles are alike and each one has its own personality, colors, and components.
Components on this piece include bolts, lock nut washers, reflective tape, nails, up-cycled electronic components, handmade collage paper, a broken basketball tire pump piece, a pendant, scrap titanium, mica flakes, and oodles of layered paint. I take pride in what I do and use professional artist quality paints and mediums.
Finish: This piece was finished using two coats of professional artist quality matte varnish. She is wired and ready to hang on your wall. All sides are painted and there is no need for a frame.
Please note: Not all computer monitors are the same. I take photos outside on cloudy days against a white background. The original artwork colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings. Mock-up photos may be to scale.
Free priorityshipping within the United States. Please message if you are overseas and I can work up a shipping price for you.
My bicycle art is currently hanging in private collections, local restaurants, and has been featured by the Heye Puzzle Company.
